Job life cycles

Each job has one or more life cycles. Life cycles are important because saving of a job result will always be performed at the end of a life cycle. Life cycles depend on job types.
Start of life cycles (for all job types):
Start now: The life cycle will be started when you click Finish in the Batch Manager after creating a job. |
Start at this time: The life cycle will be started at a later time, specified in the Start and Stop Options panel of the Job Wizard in the Batch Manager. |
Do not start now: The life cycle will be started at a later time when you click Activate Job. |
Recurrent: The life cycle will be started at start time on each recurrence day specified on the Job Recurrence panel of the Job Wizard. This option is not available for barcode cover page jobs. |
Each time a new barcode cover page arrives in a watched barcode folder in the case of barcode cover page jobs. |
End of life cycles are different depending on job types:

When the job is deactivated. To deactivate a job, click the Deactivate button or select Deactivate Job in the File menu of the Batch Manager. Note: For the Normal job type no result will be available if a job is deactivated. |
Normal non-recurring job |
When processing the predefined steps is finished. |
Normal recurring job |
Each time the processing of the predefined steps is finished. |
Folder watching job with end date |
At the predefined time. |
Folder watching job without time limit |
When the job is deactivated. |
Recurrent folder watching job |
At the end time of each occurrence day specified on the Job Recurrence panel of the Job Wizard. |
Barcode cover page job with end date |
At the specified end time, and also each time a new barcode cover page arrives in the watched barcode folder. |
Barcode cover page job without time limit |
When the job is deactivated, and also each time a new barcode cover page arrives in the watched barcode folder. |
