Deleting workflows

You can delete any workflow from the program’s default Workflow folder:

under Vista or Windows 7

Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\ScanSoft\OmniPage18\WorkFlow

under Windows XP:
Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\ScanSoft\OmniPage18\Workflow

Always two files (with the extension .xwf and .opl) must be deleted.

Example: To delete the workflow “scanning”, the following two files must be deleted: scanning.xwf and scanningxxxx.opl, where xxxx stands for a 4-digit number, generally 0000.

  • If you cannot find the Application Data folder (AppData), do the following:

    under Vista or Windows 7

Click Organize, select Folder and Search Options. In the Folder Options dialog box, click the View tab and select Show hidden files and folders. Click Apply, then OK.

    under XP

From the Start menu select Settings > Network Connections. In the Network Connections window, select Tools > Folder Options. In the Folder Options dialog box, select the View tab. In the View panel under Hidden files and folders, select Show hidden files and folders. Click Apply, then OK.
