The OmniPage Desktop
OmniPage has a flexible, rearrangable user interface.
The desktop may look differently according to the currently selected view. OmniPage has three predefined views and you can also create your own. The three views are: Classic, Flexible and Quick Convert View. On first starting the program Classic view is set. You can change view at any time in the Window menu. When you start the program any time later, the view and screen arrangement will appear as it was when the program was last closed.
The following screen shot shows OmniPage in Classic View.

OmniPage has seven panels: Thumbnails, Page Image, Text Editor, Document Manager, Workflow Status, Easy Loader and Help. In the picture you can see the first four of these. Use the Window menu to display or hide panels.
The central control panel for processing is the OmniPage Toolbox, that contains the Start button for starting workflows and automatic processing, and the Get Page, Perform OCR and Export Results buttons for manual processing. Drop-down lists serve for selecting workflows and options.
The status bar allows you to navigate between pages and modify the appearance of your OmniPage Desktop. It also provides concise help on the current item in the program and displays the location of the insertion point in the Text Editor.
You can use buttons in the Standard, Image and Formatting toolbars to perform various tasks on the document.
OmniPage can have multiple documents open.
