Workflow Assistant – Save
This topic applies to the following dialog boxes: Workflow Assistant – Save, Workflow Assistant – Save to Nuance Cloud Connector, Workflow Assistant – Save to SharePoint (and possibly to other ECMs) and also for saving directly to destinations in the Cloud. The latter two or more dialog boxes do not contain the View Result and the Create files in a timestamp subfolder options.
Save As: Select Text to save the recognition results in one of the offered file types (e.g. Microsoft Word). Select Image to save the page images to an image file type (e.g. TIFF). Select Multiple to save to more than one file type at the same time: e.g. Word and TIFF. There are four pre-defined multiple converters to choose from or you can create your own. Select Form data to save data extracted from filled forms.
Output file options
File options: Specify whether recognition results should be stored in one file or in a set of files. In the latter cases, numerical suffixes are added to the file name to generate unique files.
Naming options: Choose Use input file names or Use input names with subfolders when Create a new file for each image file is selected. In all other cases, you must specify a file name. If multiple files are generated, they are distinguished by numerical suffixes.
File type: Select the file type to be displayed in the file list.
Formatting level: This displays the formatting levels currently on offer, depending on the file type you have chosen.
Prompting
Prompt for file saving name and location: Select this to be prompted for a file name and path each time this workflow finishes. Click Browse to select a default folder for the prompting. Deselect this if you want to specify the name and path now.
Browse: Click this to browse for the folder that should appear when you are prompted for a file name and path at saving time.
Start here: This displays the path selected for the default folder when prompting for output file names.
Save automatically with a specific name and location
Specify Name and Location…: Click this to specify output file location, name and type. In the case of Cloud storage you must supply access data before choosing the location.
Input – Output: The Input field shows where the images will come from. The Output field shows where your file(s) will be stored. You may ask for the file names to be prompted both for input and output.
View Result: Select this to have the target application activated with the saved file opened. The target application is by default the one associated with your saving format in your Windows system, but you can specify a different application as a converter option for this file type.
Create files in a timestamp subfolder: To save files to automatically created folders, named by the date and time of creation.
