Load Files dialog box
Access this my clicking the Get Pages button (number 1 in the OmniPage Toolbox) or by starting automatic processing when Load Files is set for input.
Look in: This displays the folder whose contents are listed below. The files displayed depend on the setting in Files of type. It may display files of only the selected type, all supported image files or all files.
List: This panel lists all files of the defined type in the current folder. Click Up One Level or Look In to move to another folder. Select one or more files to place them in File name. Use Add in the advanced section to add files one at a time to build up a file list. Do this to have precise control over the reading order or to take files from different folders.
File name: Select one or more files from the list above to have them placed here. You can also enter a file name with its full path. To load files from different folders or to control file order precisely, click Advanced (if necessary) and use Add.
Images: Click this to load image files.
Documents: Click this to load document files.
Files of type: Select the file type you want to load. Then only files of the specified type in the current folder will be displayed. You can choose Image files to list all image files with supported file types. You can choose Document files to list all document files with supported file types. You can choose All files to view the full list of files in the folder, but only supported image or document files can be opened. To open an OmniPage Document file, use Open OPD in the File menu.
Page range: If you select a multi-page image file, you can specify which pages should be opened. If you leave it unchanged, all pages will be opened.
Preview: Select this to preview the file selected (or the first page of a multi-page file). You cannot use this function if you select multiple files. The image will not be displayed if you select multiple files.
Advanced>>: Click this to open the advanced options area. This allows you to add image files from different folders and specify their reading order. You can also add folders, so that all files of specified types found in the folder are added.
<<Basic: Click this to close the advanced options area.
Add Selected: Click this to add files one at a time to the list to be opened. Use it to open files from different folders or to define the file order. To have auto-separation of output files on blank pages, you can add a blank image file as required.
Add All Images: Click this to add all image files of the defined type from the current folder.
Remove: Click this to remove all selected files from the file list.
Move Up: Click here to move the selected item one position upwards. Repeat as necessary.
Move Down: Click here to move the selected item one position downwards. Repeat as necessary.
Files/Folders: This area lists the image files selected for opening. Files can be added from different folders; folders can also be added. The file order in this list defines their order in the document. You do not need to use this facility if all your image files are in one folder.

The Easy Loader panel provides an alternative to using this dialog box. It allows a file list to be compiled more easily from different folders and has the advantage that it can remain open as long as you want. In Quick Convert View it also allows one-button speed processing if Get and Convert is set.
