Omnipage pro Sending elements front or back

This topic relates only to OmniPage Professional.

You can use either the Bring to Front or Send to Back command to layer overlapping form elements.

Bring to Front: Moves one or more selected elements in front of other elements on a form.

Send to Back: Moves one or more selected elements to the back of other elements on a form.

To bring elements to front:

  • Select Format / Form Object / Order / Bring to Front, or

Choose Form Object Order / Bring to Front in the shortcut menu.

To send elements to back:

  • Select Format / Form Object / Order / Send to Back, or

Choose Form Object Order / Send to Back in the shortcut menu.

  • Use Send to Back, for example, if a rectangle is blocking the item, such as text, that it is supposed to be highlighting. See the examples below. They show before and after the highlight was sent to the back.
