To mark words or phrases by searching

You can search for texts and mark them automatically using the

To find and mark or redact text using the Find, Replace and Mark Text dialog box

  1. Choose Find and Mark Text… from the Edit menu.

  2. Type in the Find what edit box the text you want to redact, mark for redacting, highlight, or strikeout.

  3. Select the appropriate search options.

  4. Select Bookmark page if you want to bookmark pages where search text was found and either marked or redacted.

  5. Click Find Next to jump to the first occurrence. Click the appropriate button: Redact, Mark for redacting, Highlight or Strikeout. The next occurrence is then displayed. To skip an occurrence, click Find Next.

  6. When marking is finished, close the dialog box or choose to perform redaction on all texts marked for redaction.

To find and mark or redact text using a workflow

In a workflow, use the Mark Text workflow step to search for and mark text typed in the Redacting, Highlight or Strikeout box. You can type in words, phrases, text fragments in all the three boxes. Multiple search items (non-consecutive words) should be separated by semicolons.

Steps:

  1. Create a workflow that contains the Mark Text workflow step

  2. Specify the step options.

  3. Run the workflow
